I'm 20 years old and live in Fairbanks, Alaska where, except for an 8 month stint in New York, I've lived
for the past 14 years. I am a music major at U. of A Fairbanks, and I sling coffee for gas money. As far as musical inspiration
goes, I grew up listening to the old-school sounds of Motown, and The Beatles, but as I got a bit older I discovered a million
different other bands and styles that have made me into the music freak I am today. I love everything from Billie Holiday
to Bad Religion, Vivaldi to the Violent Femmes. About 5 years ago I picked up my dads acoustic guitar, spent an hour
tuning it and never looked back. I spent a happy 9 months or so in the band Codename:Cleveland with some really great kids,
and now I'm doing the solo singer-songwriter-crappy guitar player thing for awhile. I've the privilage of playing with some
great Alaskan artists and bands such as Whiskey Tango, Kelsa, 37SCDW, Dumbnation, The Fearless Pirates of Willygoat, The Muldoonies,
Kelsa, and Matt Hopper. I' m about to drop everything and move to Seattle to pursue my music career (or lack thereof),
and to finish the ep I started recording in March '05. My favorite color is green, I like Tequilla Sunrises, and the movie
Better Off Dead. And thats about it.
